All about how to manage xebrio account

Change Your Email Address

Only admin has the right to change other member’s email address through admin panel. Using the Edit option which is available in three dot menu from user’s list user Admin panel

Change Your Display Name

Click on the user avatar on the top right corner, then select My Profile. In the My Profile screen, you can change the display name.

Change Your Account Password

Xebrio allows users to reset password from 2 places viz. login page and my profile page. For more details –

How do I log into my account?

Once a user (admin) signs up for Xebrio, they get to choose a domain name which is used to form a URL for the account. viz. yourdomain.xebrio.app

Where can I see my account information?

Click on the user avatar on the top right corner, then select My Profile. In the My Profile screen, you will see all the information related to your account.

Understand User Session

User’s login session is valid for 24hrs. User will be logged out automatically after 24hrs of inactivity.

Account User Permissions

Types of users –
1. Internal – This is the group of people belonging to your organization, that you will work with regularly.
2. Client – This is the group of people to whom you want to deliver your project. Create a client company to enable external stakeholders to collaborate and monitor the progress you’re making on the project.
3. Vendor – This group provides goods & services, and are typically provided access to various parts of the project so they can perform their job.

Following are the types of roles in Xebrio –
– Account Admin
The user who signs up for Xebrio is treated as the Admin user for that account.
– Individual Account User
The users that are invited/added by the admin in the system are treated as individual account users.
Project
– Project Owner
The user who creates a project is treated as the Project Owner. Project owner can add more users as project members in a project, set their roles and permissions. Following roles can be assignned to project members:
– Developer
– QA Engineer
– Business Analyst
– Project Member
– Product Manager
– QA Manager
– Sales Manager
– Business Development Manager
– Requirements Analyst
– Marketing Manager

Following are some other roles in Xebrio. Values in () describe the objects to which they belong to.
– Owner (Requirement, Document, Milestone, Test Case)
– Contributor (Requirement)
– Reviewer (Requirement)
– Reporter (Task, Bug, Subtask)
– Assignee (Task, Bug, Subtask)
– Watcher (Task, Bug, Subtask)

How to use two-factor authentication

Xebrio offers two-factor authentication, or 2FA, as an additional security measure when accessing your Xebrio account. Enabling 2FA adds security to your account by requiring both your password as well as access to a security code on your phone to access your account.
